    Chinese AI start-up DeepSeek is actively recruiting interns to enhance its AI capabilities in hospitals, as reported by South China Morning Post. This initiative is part of a broader effort to integrate AI into medical diagnostics, with the company offering 500 yuan (US$70) per day for interns tasked with labeling medical data. The positions, located in Beijing, require applicants to have medical backgrounds and experience with large language models (LLMs).

    DeepSeek’s open-source AI models are already being utilized in over 300 hospitals across China as of March, according to data from the IndexBox platform. These models support clinical diagnostics and medical decision-making, marking a significant advancement in the adoption of AI in healthcare.
